What's Coming Next | Naval Estimates - Free Naval Grand Strategy Wargame

Hope you have all enjoyed the first steps of Naval Estimates. Here is some of what to expect over the coming week or so.

Update 1.0.3 - later this week

This one continues with additional bug fixes, and introduces six preset colour themes for the interface - possibly custom ones too. That comes coupled with a big sweep of all interface fonts, features and colours, as well as all tooltip and warning text.

Update 1.1.0 - early next week

A larger one. The headline is a new nation and start date to test with, both currently being voted on the Discord. As it stands today, it is likely to be the Imperial German Kaiserliche Marine, and either 1912 or 1920 - and yes, I realise there is a little anachronism in the latter date.

Alongside that, the patch is looking to include:

Improved magazine and hoist handling in the ship designer, including shared magazines for mounts in the same battery
An improved stability and hydrodynamics model, including calculation of draught and speed at standard displacement, in addition to the current full load
An early version of the underwater hullform illustration
A more fleshed-out crew complement calculation, with internal volume and crew volume considerations
Improvements to smaller ships, starting with smaller armoured cruisers and protected cruisers
