update

Build 1.0.2

Build 1.0.2 is out - mostly a hotfix, with an improved ship export and import system.

All 1.0.1 saves, designs, gun codes and mount codes load. Ship share codes are retired: ships now transfer as design files carrying the ship, its mounts and their guns.

Additions

  • Ships transfer as design files - one download carrying the ship, its mounts and their guns. This replaces the ship share code, which referenced armament by id and silently dropped mounts on import
  • Mount share codes now carry their gun’s design inputs, allowing full import of both
  • Main Menu dropdown with a Return to Main Menu button
  • Design speed gets a warning by class and era
  • Machinery rooms clamp to reasonable positions and clear the propellers, like magazines
  • New warning: a magazine above the waterline with no armour around it
  • Magazine settings mirror across a symmetrical mount pair - stocks, flashtight level, growth and floor act on both halves
  • Battery hoist heads sit level with the battery’s own guns on Auto, show the correct Walk/Lift delivery leg, and are clickable across their whole interior in every 2D view
  • Under Historical Infrastructure Limits, a mounted turret’s gunhouse and barbette plate are also limited on the ship that mounts it

Fixes

  • Two mounts on the same deck could intersect their working circles
  • The summary card listed Barbettes twice
  • Blast-bag attachment hovered off curved turret faces and casemates; the ring now conforms to the drawn wall
  • Casemate and embrasure edges printed through the deck above them at zoomed-out angles
  • Battery hoist heads defaulted levels away from raised guns, and the head height stepper could stick between rungs at off-grid weather decks
  • Design Speed stepped a whole knot when it should be half
  • Wet-deck seakeeping warnings vanished silently in some situations

Balance

  • Installed supply chains now price the delivery leg properly for battery hoists
  • Hoist head rooms shrink from a 4 m to a 2.5 m square and fit under their deck’s roof level
  • Casemate covering clearance halves to 0.1 m, so a 2.4 m casemate fits a 2.5 m level exactly

Other

  • Warning and error messages trimmed across the ship designer

Bug reports and designs are both welcome on the Discord.
